Abstract

Southern Right Whales are expanding their range to San Antonio Bay in Patagonia. This expansion allowed the settlement of new whale-watching operations. Whale-watching is focused in the least vulnerable groups. At distances of >50 m most groups sighted respond remaining neutral. At close distances the reaction depended on the maneuver type and the group type.
